I am a very experienced Line Producer and Post Production Supervisor specialising in medium to low-budget Feature Films and TV Drama. In a career spanning nearly 20 years in TV Drama, I have worked for the BBC, ITV and various Independents, while in Feature Films I have worked for BBC Films, Missing In Action Films and Trademark Films.
In 2004/5, I was very proud to be involved in the post production on the Oscar-winning live action short film of 2006, SIX SHOOTER, produced by Missing In Action Films and Funny Farm Films. I worked for M.I.A. again in 2006/7 on the well-received feature documentary, SCOTT WALKER 30 CENTURY MAN and in 2008 I worked for Trademark Films on the comedy feature film, A BUNCH OF AMATEURS starring Burt Reynolds.
I have also worked as a Production Executive and Head of Production on various occasions and in 2010 I spent 8 months as Acting Head of Production at Shed Productions followed in 2011, by a 3 month job-share with the current post-holder.
2011 saw me deliver my biggest Post production project to date, COMBAT HOSPITAL, a 13-part drama series, shot in Canada, posted in London and delivered to Global TV, ABC and Sony in North America, requiring multiple formats, frame rates and tape stock. Delivery was bonded by Film Finances (Canada).
Having successfully qualified as an AAT Level 2 Bookkeeper and completing a home-study course in SAGE Accounts I can now offer Post Production Accounting along with my Post Production Supervisor’s work. Keeping in touch with many post production companies ensures I am abreast of the new technology and services on offer.
As a freelance Line Producer or Post Production Supervisor I bring to my work the ability to see the wider picture of a Production Executive, the managerial and budgetary control of a Line Producer, the attention to detail of an Accountant and the knowledge and network of contacts gained from many years of working in an industry I love.
